We are so glad we decided to go to the Wax Museum at Myrtle Beach. We had no idea how much there was to do at the wax museum! It was so much fun dressing up using the props at each station and interacting with the ‘celebrities.’ There was something for everyone.
YJ who is 8, and Cam who is 2, both loved all of the dance areas, especially at the end when they got to dance with Beyonce and Katy Perry! That was too cute. Even Amari our 1 year old joined in on the fun and played along on the piano wall, and even danced a bit!
They do have a section full of ‘monsters’, but for those of you with younger kids, or children that scare easy they have a Monster Bypass which is genious. We decided to take turns walking through with YJ so Cam and Amari didn’t have to go in that section.
In addition to the museum, they have Hannah Mirror Maze and Outbreak- Dread The Undead.
The mirror maze was so much fun, even though Cam was a little scared in the beginning. By that I mean- they heard him screaming in the gift shop upstairs. But overall he made it through and was so happy that he saved the princess. He is still telling everyone about it a week later!
For obvious reasons, we skipped Outbreak- Dread The Undead, but this would be great for older kids.
